Congratulations to all the winners

A big thank you to all who attended the Redland Bay State School Ladies' Night, we all had a great time showing you our wares, and some of you made a free card with me too. We had a display of Zumba dancing, lots of drinks and nibbles to keep us going, and the raffle prize draws! The winners were: Lisa Martin, Ana Oliveira, Rachelle Hersey, Rachael Usmar, Michelle Kostner, Sylvia Beamish, Sylvia Williams and Di Forno. So far we have raised over $800, but we are still counting the party plan contributions.
It's going to be bigger and better next year, so if you didn't make it, please come next time.

Hot off the Press!

This news flash brought to you from Stampin' Up!'s web site,
Colour Renovation
We are excited to bring to you a new world of colour in Stampin' Up!'s Colour Renovation. For over two years, we have done extensive research including investigating colour trends in the fashion, home décor, and crafting industries. We have found that it was time to update our colours so that you have a fresh, on-trend colour palette to work with! We have learned from our successful In Color programme that you love getting new colours. The new colour palette is organized into four collections: Subtles, Brights, Regals, and Neutrals. You will see 25 of our current colours remaining, and ten past In Colors returning as core colours, and the addition of five new core colours.
New In Color Programme
One part of our Colour Renovation that we're sure you're going to love is the new In Color programme! Each year we will introduce five new In Colors, and they will remain for two years. This means that the 2010-2011 In Colors will be introduced later this year, but will not be retired until the 2012-2013 colours are introduced. This year there will be only be five In Colors, but after that, we will always have ten (the previous year's plus the new).

Easter 2004

Here is my big girl Tegan, then nearly 2 years old. This was the first Easter I had in Australia, and Tegan was then the only grandchild capable of walking around for the egg hunt at Mike's Mum's house, so she had all the eggs for herself! These days she has to compete with the other 5 cousins and her sister.
I used Circle Circus for the border stripe at the bottom in So Saffron, and then used the Wide Oval punch to create some easter egg shapes, backed by the scallop oval (you can still purchase this punch by the way even though it is no longer in any of the catalogues). The bunny from Greetings Eight added the finishing touch to the page, hand coloured using the pastels and blender pens for a subtle effect.

Olivia in black and white

This beautiful photo was taken of Olivia a couple of Easters ago I think. I used some retired rub ons and the It's Beautiful wheel which I clear embossed to create the monchromatic scheme you see. I just love this page...

Love those new Autumn mini cat. products!

Here are some of the projects I have been working on using some of the new products from the Autumn mini cat. Hope you like them.

The first one uses the Vintage Vogue stamp set, in So Saffron, Old Olive and Baja Breeze inks, this photo was taken of Mike at his fiftieth birthday party two years ago.

The two Rich Razzleberry cards were inspired by Alisa Tilsner, you can see her originals here

A few cards made while I was on a roll! The two on the right are cased from the mini catalogue, while the one on the left seemed to fall together nicely while I was playing with the new Country Wall DSP.

I made these little gift tents for Tegan and Olivia's school teachers, they are filled with chocolates of course! The Happy Easter words come from the Greetings Eight stamp set

The last page also uses Vintage Vogue, as well as the new Extra-large two-step bird punch, which I have stamped and then punched. It also uses the Friendly Words wheel and the new Cottage Wall DSP. Don't you just love the new In-Colour Rich Razzleberry!
